Something is Amiss

blog readability test

Movie Reviews

My friend had this interesting icon on her blog too. But her's said "Elementary Level". There is something wrong here. She muses about liberty and true freedon, about proper punctuation, poems by Leonard Feeney, and tolerance. I am writing about hanging meat from trees, covering vinegar in bowls and baby food. What's the catch?

Hee hee!

I was searching around other blogs, trying to figure out what constituted "high school" level, and didn't find any that rated higher than that. I was looking at theological blogs that used long sentences, big obscure words, and quotes in ancient languages. Mea culpa, I didn't think to rate this one, or Sister Mary Martha or "June Cleaver After a Six-Pack" or "Pioneer Woman" -- all my favorite chick-blogs. I think I may have been using faulty criteria. Who knew "Cute," "assorted food applications," and "inspirational" were post-grad qualifications?

I have said three times today now, "There is so much to learn!"

Peggy,
Hi, I am Diane, Julia Grace's mom. I read your comment on our blog and yes, I am on the cleft advocate e-mail. That church is St. Andrews the Apostle Church in Apex, NC. That was actually at my youngest sons First Communion when Julia was just about 3 weeks old. We recently had her baptized and it was wonderful. I have looked at your website before and I am so glad you have decided to share your pictures of your beautiful family. We are getting close to surgery time and I have to trust that everything will be fine. Where in NC are you located and where did Holly have her surgery?
